Board Planner MCP App

MCP App · UI in chat
from"rafalpodles"
4

rafalpodles maintains this Kanban, sprint and agent-work platform. Its built-in Streamable HTTP MCP server exposes 46 tools, while ten task, project and sprint tools link to ui://boardplanner/view-v1.html for an inline view governed by the same scoped token permissions.

Not for: A standalone npm MCP process. The server is part of a running Board Planner cloud or self-hosted instance and requires an API token scoped to the intended projects.

>Questions

Is Board Planner's UI an MCP App or only its normal website?

It is both. The source registers ui://boardplanner/view-v1.html as text/html;profile=mcp-app and attaches it to ten MCP tools.

Can the MCP token access every project?

Only if you grant that scope. Board Planner documents project-scoped API tokens enforced centrally for REST and MCP.

Do I have to self-host Board Planner?

No. The hosted service includes the MCP server, while the Community edition can be self-hosted with Docker Compose.
